The purpose of this test is to identify the presence of Vitamin A in edible oils. The main advantage  of these methods are their portability and lack of sample preparation, in comparison to the other methods.

In this test, there are two colour formations. The DARK GREEN COLOUR indicates the presence of Vitamin A while RED COLOUR indicates the absemce of Vitamin A .
