What is FoSTaC Training?

FoSTaC (Food Safety Training and Certification) is a training program launched by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to promote safe and hygienic food handling practices across the country. The program is designed to create a trained workforce of Food Safety Supervisors in every food business, including restaurants, catering services, food manufacturing units, and retail outlets.
Under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, FoSTaC training is mandatory for certain categories of food businesses.

Why FoSTaC?
